Just an old poem I wrote, that I like to re-read from time to time... so I will share it with all of you, whoever you may be.
As I lay with you in bed,
I think upon the things you've said,
How we are each just a thread,
That has been intertwined
And even though much time we've missed
Our destiny, we can't resist
Alone we simply don’t exist
Our souls are intertwined
Then a tear comes to my eye,
We'll grow old and one day die,
For now though we lay side by side,
Our bodies intertwined
And when death does take us away,
There would be nothing left to say,
As one we lived til our last day,
Our lives were intertwined
But for now I'd rather be,
In love with you and you with me,
We will spend eternity,
Forever intertwined
